Burns Guides Technology Enhancements for Metropolitan D.C. Region Airports

Burns is supporting Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority (MWAA) with special systems consulting services.
MWAA is undertaking a modernization initiative to improve the passenger experience at Dulles International Airport and Reagan National Airport. Their Smart Display platform integrates flight information, emergency broadcasting, news media, commercial content, and more.
MWAA Chief Information Officer Goutam Kundu wrote in the June/July 2023 edition of Airport Magazine how the innovative, enterprise-wide digital signage solution improves accessibility, captures new non-aeronautical revenue streams, and delivers $1.5 million in annual cost savings through operational efficiencies.
Burns is proud to serve as an aviation technology consultant for MWAA. Operating under a technology on-call contract, Burns supports the authority with a range of system assessments, technology recommendations, and special systems design services.
